A Non-Executive Director and strategist specialising in operational quality, governance and assurance, Rashad has a proven track record of guiding ambitious businesses to operational excellence in sectors including financial services, commercial banking, shipping, retail, employee health and wellbeing, third sector and FinTech.
He chairs the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and the Project Managers Without Borders board subcommittee. He was previously Senior Vice President, Quality & Business Improvement for SGX’s global subsidiaries, where he embedded quality management principles, strengthened regulatory compliance in financial benchmarks, and led process improvement and efficiency programmes.

Rashad is a Fellow of the Chartered Quality Institute and a Fellow of the CX Academy, recognised for raising the profile of the Quality and Customer Experience profession.
He is a judge for the International Quality Awards, Honorary Fellows Category, and for the Quality Professional Awards in the Employability and Further Education sectors.
In 2017, he was a Finalist in the International Quality Awards for Quality Professional in a New Project of the Year.

Through the PMI Lebanon Chapter’s Project Managers Without Borders initiative, he drives social impact by building NGO capability.
He has also advised PMI Global on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policy for project professionals around the world.
He has worked with teams in the UK, Europe, USA, Asia and the Middle East, across multiple sectors and disciplines.

A recognised thought leader and speaker, Rashad has spoken at Quality Live, the International Conference on Quality Engineering and Management, and various NEDonBoard events, including for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). His talks focus on increasing productivity, driving competitive advantage and knowing your why. He has also delivered guest lectures to Masters students at the University of West London.
He hosts the CQI’s Quality Impact podcast and Rashad in Conversation, created the How To Quality© series, and writes regularly on his blog.
